Yes. Completely free to download and use. All core features: ATM finder, fees and transaction limits, forex locations, SOS numbers, visa info, cash tips, fee calculator, and traveller reviews, are available to all users.
Premium is optional and adds convenience features such as advanced sorting, filters, a currency converter, and an ad-free experience.
In which countries can I download and use the App?
The App is available to download worldwide (in all countries) from App Store or Google Play. There are no geo-restrictions from where you can download the App. The App provides information on cash places in 180+ countries, find the full list here →.
Where do you get the ATM fees, limits and other information from?
Information mainly comes from the financial institutions and official sources. It is not aggregated and it is not primarily crowdsourced. Every data point goes through multiple layers of validation before appearing in the app. Where we receive user feedback on cash places, it is reviewed and validated thoroughly. We do not publish unverified submissions.
How updated and current is the information on the App?
We work round-the-clock to keep the information updated soon as it changes. That said, financial institutions do change fees without notice, sometimes even overnight. We do our best to update it as quickly as possible, and ensuring along that all updates go through the same validation process.
Do I need to sign up to use the App?
Not necessarily. You can use the App with the ‘Explore without an account’ option. If you prefer, you can sign up or login with Google Sign-in, Apple Sign-in or Email.
Can I use the app without sharing my location?
Yes. Sharing your location is optional. You can manually select a country from the dropdown and browse general list of ATMs with fees and limits, forex locations and other country related information. You can also move the map and use “Search around this area” button to see details of cash places in a specific location without sharing your current location. If you want to have the convenience of automatically seeing ATMs and cash places near you, we recommend that you allow location access. Your location details are not stored in the background.

Ads help keep the app free for everyone. ATM Fee Saver is independently built and self-financed. We keep them as non-intrusive as possible.
I don’t want ads and interruptions. What do I do?
You can upgrade to Premium – all Premium plans are fully ad-free on every screen. No banners, no pop-ups, no interruptions while you’re searching for an ATM.
Is Premium worth it?
If you withdraw cash abroad more than a couple of times, likely yes. ATM fees abroad typically range from $3 – $15 per withdrawal. Choosing a better ATM, even once, can save more than the cost of a basic Premium subscription. Premium subscriptions are extremely cost effective keeping in mind varied budgets of travellers and can save you a lot of time and effort.
Does the App work without internet?
An internet connection is required to load ATM locations and live data. Once a country is loaded, some basic information remains accessible. The currency converter requires a connection for live rates.
Can I share reviews on cash places in a foreign country?
Yes. You can add and edit places and reviews directly in the App. Share the fee you were actually charged, whether the ATM worked, whether it felt safe at night, and what card types it accepted. Your input help fellow travellers make better decisions.
