We’re two travellers from opposite sides of the world – one from India and one from Germany, travelled for 10+ years to 60+ countries, 5 continents… as backpackers, budget and luxury travellers. Over the years of our travel, we (and probably you too) have donated-oops-paid loads of our precious money to many unnecessary things, one of them being ATM fees! “Sure, they’re providing a service and service isn’t usually free,” you might say. We totally get that. But we’d often accept these fees unknowingly or snub it off saying, “4% of our withdrawal is tiny!” We often chose ignorance-oops-convenience of the closest ATM, rather than another just a few steps away that’s fee-free or with a lower fee (there usually is!). So shouldn’t you rather save and spend this money on other experiences? (Glasses of fine wine, maybe?).
And so, we envision a world financial spending on travels is smarter and more informed.
